DoxyChain has established a partnership with CYBER SCIENCE Silesian Centre for Legal Engineering, Technology, and Digital Competence. This cooperation aims to integrate theory and practical applications, offering graduates blockchain-based certificates and fostering a collaborative environment for research and teaching projects.

CYBER SCIENCE Silesian Centre for Legal Engineering, Technology and Digital Competence is a research and teaching consortium established by the University of Silesia in Katowice, University of Economics in Katowice and the Silesian University of Technology.

CYBER SCIENCE represents an interdisciplinary approach to research and education combining areas of engineering, law, management and new technologies. It offers two postgraduates majors:

• CYBER SCIENCE. Tokenization and automation of processes in the digital economy. Legal, technological and managerial aspects
• CYBER SCIENCE. Cybersecurity management

Partnership with DoxyChain

The collaboration between CYBER SCIENCE and DoxyChain represents a synergic approach that recognizes the importance of integrating theory and practical applications. Graduates of CYBER SCIENCE studies will receive blockchain based certificates confirming their accomplishment and proficiency in the field. Moreover, both parties will collaborate on research and teaching projects, to foster a collaborative environment for innovation. DoxyChain will share its knowledge with both staff and students, focusing on blockchain certificates and blockchain technology. This will be a great opportunity for students to gain practical skills related to digital certificates and blockchain in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. This partnership will complement the knowledge acquired at the university with real-world implementation using DoxyChain platform.

As a first step of this partnership, digital certificates for participants will be issued after the completion of June 2023 Hackathon organised by CYBER SCIENCE. Participants will be able to show their achievement through these certificates and third parties will be able to verify the authenticity of the certificate by scanning the QR code or using DoxyChain Explorer. This approach ensures a secure and transparent method of credential verification and offers a reliable way to validate the accomplishments of Hackathon participants.
